Interview-Only Preparation
I am a highly experienced admissions interview trainer. Many have said that my interviews were the most difficult they encountered including the real interviews! I believe be overprepared is the best way to get prepared. Learn more about my methods here and also on my blog.I can offer interview only preparation training packages of any size. You can pay either in yen or US$.
Hourly: ￥20,000 or $220
5 Sessions: ￥95,000, ￥19,000/hour (hours 6-19 at ￥19,000 each) or 5 Sessions: $1000, $190/hour (hours 6-19 at $200 each)
The yen rates above are for payment via bank transfer. A 3% service charge will be added to any Paypal purchases in yen. The US$ rates above are for payment via Paypal.
Telephone/Skype sessions: I encourage all my clients to use Skype as it is free, but if you want to talk with me on the phone, please call me. For Skype, I am video enabled.
Face-to-face sessions will be conducted at selected locations in the Tokyo area. Plans for face-to-face sessions are flexible and will be determined on an individual client basis. Please contact me for details. I usually meet clients at cafes or at their offices. Unlike telephone/Skype or email sessions,
I have a one hour minimum for all face-to-face sessions.
Reapplication Counseling Service
This service is designed for those who want to understand why they were rejected and want to learn from the experience. For my views on reapplication, please see my blog.1. Initial free consultation to determine whether we should work together. This involves you filling-out an assessment form and sending it to me prior to a short conversation via Skype.
2. I will provide comprehensive review of one application.
3. I will provide brief written comments on the application.
4. Skype/telephone feedback session of 1.5 hours. Face-to-face sessions are also possible, but contact me for details.
5. Cost 30,000 yen or $330 (A savings of 25% off my standard hourly rate for the 2 or more hours of consulting I will provide).
6. I will review additional applications at 10,000 yen or $105, which includes written notes and an additional 15 minutes of feedback.
7. Special Incentive for purchasing 5 or more regular consulting sessions: 1 free additional hour of consulting.
